As Therèse, Cécile's mother, Nina Scott-Stoddart was a joy.

Welcome!

Thanks for visiting my singer’s website.  My name is Nina Scott-Stoddart, and I’m a Canadian opera singer living in Nova Scotia on the beautiful East Coast of Canada.

I’m a contralto or a dramatic mezzo soprano, which means I get to sing some of the best repertoire ever written:  not just the maids and mothers, but the witches and bitches (I leave the “britches” part to those more svelte than I am.)

I’m also a stage director and producer of opera and musical theatre, and that takes an increasing amount of my time.  But singing and performing are my first love and I’ve designed this website to share some of that with you.
